There are so many people who want to start working for themselves at home. However many need to know how to overcome the fear of failure in respect to starting their online business. In this post I am going to explain some of the common and misaligned fears that people have.

Just like it is impossible to build a house or a skyscraper without first laying a foundation to build upon, the same is true for building an online business. Your personal website will act as that foundation to your future online success.

However when many people think of having their own personal website, they fear that it takes hard work to not just build it but to maintain it. This is one of those misaligned fears that many times prevent people from trying.

In real affiliate marketing you come up with a niche and you write articles and posts about the many aspects and products relating to that niche on your website. Making money in CONTENT WRITING AND BLOGGING

One of the main things that you will do with an affiliate marketing website is write content. Some people get afraid of the term “writing content” but they really shouldn’t because they write content all the time. Writing content is nothing more than communicating in typed out words rather than spoken.

When you write website and blog content, you are mainly just communicating your thoughts. The way I approach writing my content is by imagining myself sitting across the table from a best friend or family member and I am explaining to them whatever it is that I wish them to know. But instead of speaking these words I am typing them out on the computer keyboard.

There are loads of companies both large and small that are looking for people to do writing gigs for them. Many companies employ one or two in-house editors but get the bulk of their writing and blogging from Freelance Writers working remotely from anywhere.

Writing is something we all do at some level. Do you write emails, messages on social media, or texts? These are all forms of content writing. But when you can employ the knowledge you gain from the writing of your website content by using SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and keyword research, your services as a content and blog writer are in more demand.

And last but not least I also make money selling on eBay. For some reason people think that it is hard to sell on eBay when it is actually quite easy. When you sell on eBay you should do a combination of drop shipping and shipping your own items. I find it best and more profitable to do both at the same time. Learning how to drop ship is very easy and it is free to learn. There is absolutely no need to join programs like DS Domination.

The people that join DSD do not realize that what they are teaching is NOT drop shipping and the high cost of the DSD membership fees will severely eat away at whatever profit margin you may earn. You must design your website in a way that it gives the desired information without making them click on a dozen links. Too many links are not good in any case, as they can distract the visitors. A basic website needs to have six compact pages of information, including the Home Page, Services, Products, Portfolio/Samples, about us, Contact us, and that’s about as much information as a regular user would want from a business website.

4). No Call to Action

Mistake: Failing to place a call to action, or placing it somewhere in the end that is not even visible above the fold, on your landing page.

Solution: Your advertisement rocks, services rock, and you give users all the information (even more) than they need at your website. Everything falls in place and they’re convinced, what’s next? Consider the content on your home/landing page as a sales pitch, what good is a sales pitch without a call to action?

5). Unnecessary and Complicated Registration Forms

Mistake: Forcing a user who wants to attain your services to fill in a complicated registration just for the heck of it. This is a huge “Put Off” for any visitor, and at times, does more harm than good.

Solution: Of course, a registered user is better than a random one, but you should never force it, or make it necessary to access the required information on your business website. You don’t need to store each and every visitor’s information; you will get the required information when somebody contacts you. However, when a retail store asks the visitor to gets registered just to access the catalog, it spoils the purpose of having a website.
